Soccer is played under
a system of rules known as the Laws of the Game.
Alameda teams in the Under 6, Under 7, and Under 8 age groups play
under a special set of Small-Sided Soccer Rules designed specifically
for those ages.
Under 10 and older games
are played according to a descending set of rules:
FIFA's Laws of the Game
- which are the fundamental rules of soccer at all levels.
CYSA's Modified Laws of
the Game - (modifications appropriate for youth soccer).

League Rules of Play (further modifications for youth play).
