Volunteers recognized at for 2014 contributions
The following volunteers were recognized at our 2014 Volunteer Party for their special contributions to the Club. Please join us in congratulating and thanking them! Recreational Coach of the Year – Jeff Anderer, U14B “Jedi Knights” Competitive Coach of the Year – Eugene Demmler, U13B Alameda Islanders Volunteer of the Year – Tom Allen, for dedicated volunteer service to the Club in many capacities including Registrar, Treasurer, and Age Group Coordinator.
U13 Boys Red Islanders NorCal champions
The U13 Boys Red Islanders are assured sole possession of 1st place and are NorCal Region 3/4 Silver 2 Division champions! Just a little extra icing on the cake to finish our league season with clean sheet win vs. East Bay United. Although this was the team’s first year in Silver, the U13 Boys Red Islanders finished 7-0-1 with a goal differential of 32-4.
Alameda 2013 State Cup Champions and Finalists!
Our Islander teams did very well this year in the Norcal State Cup Competition and we are proud of them. These were some of the results: U12 Girls – CHAMPIONS Silver 1 Cup (Coaches Jordan, Adams, MacAskill, Langford) U11 Boys – Finalists Bronze 6 Cup (Coach Moore) U10 Girls – Finalists Silver 1 Cup (Weiland)
