New Coaches

Three New Coaches for ASC! Welcome Coaches Adam, Andrew and James! Welcome to the new coaches who will be joining us for our Spring Season and beyond. These coaches are coming in from our coaching partner 24-7. All three coaches are coming in from the UK and will be part of our club going forward. These coaches will cover Edgar’s teams and the Rec responsibilities of Lucas (who has been driving up from the South Bay, but will cease working with ASC at the end of February).

Summer Camps 2022

Summer Camps

We are excited to offer day camps this summer for our competitive and recreational players. These camps will be one week long for three hours a day either 9-12 or 1-4. Camp fees are $200 per week. Players will be grouped by age group (2015 birth year and older only please) and similar skill level. Sessions will be led by one of our professional coaches.

Age Range: 2015 birth year and older.

Competitive Tryouts 2022

2022-2023 ASC Competitive Tryouts

ASC Islanders Competitive Tryouts will be held for all players and age groups

2004-2014 birth years May 16 - May 26.

These tryouts will be to form teams for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 seasons and will be run by Adam Butler (DOC), Technical Directors, Professional Coaches, Competitive Team Coordinators, and ASC Coaches/Staff.

Training update

We are very excited to be back on the field. We hope your children are enjoying being back on the field with their coaches and fellow Islanders. As of now, NorCal has tentatively scheduled games to start in 2020. However, we don’t know at this point if or when games will actually be allowed by the State and County. For now, we are going forward with planning for socially distanced team training sessions for the fall.

2009 Girls Red takes 2nd at Santa Cruz Breakers

The 2009 Girls Red team won 2nd place at the Santa Cruz Breakers Halloween Cup 2 weekends ago. They played tough by playing against IR Academy who are currently ranked 5th in California. The Islanders, however, broke IR Academy’s shutout streak at the tournament by scoring against them leaving the final score at 5-3. Coaches Adam Butler, Sara Diluna, Marty Farris

Islanders 2006 Girls are Champions

The ASC Islanders 2006 Girls brought home the Kick-or-Treat Tournament championship hosted by the Fremont Youth Soccer Club on October 27th and 28th. This tournament was all about the girls showcasing their growth and development over this season. They began the season with a shaky 0-4 tournament performance in August. Now, they dominated their age group by going undefeated and conceding only 1 goal in the final 90 seconds of tournament play.

Islanders 2004 Red takes 1st at Davis tournament

The Alameda Islanders 2004 Red Team girls achieved 1st place in the Davis Legacy Lily Nisen Memorial Tournament. The Islanders conceded only 1 goal the whole tournament. The first game was tied 1-1 against the host Davis Legacy team. The second game was a 1-0 win against Natomas F.A. On Sunday morning, the Islanders needed to better Davis’ 5-0 win from Saturday against Sacramento Soccer Alliance to reach the final, they did so with a 9-0 win against SSA.
